The county convention of the Mitchell County Democratic Party will elect its county officers (Chair, Vice Chairs, and Secretary), a State Executive Committee member, and eight (8) delegates to the Eleventh Congressional District Democratic Convention for the next two-year cycle as well as discuss other issues.

Colonel Morris “Moe” Davis (USAF-Retired), the 2020 Democratic nominee for the 11th Congressional District seat, will be the keynote speaker.
