The Mitchell County Democratic Party Executive Committee will hold its first meeting of 2026 on Saturday, January 3rd, at CJ’s BBQ (12486 NC Highway 226) in Spruce Pine, The agenda will consist of finalizing plans for the upcoming precinct organizational meetings (including the organization of new precincts) in February and the county convention in March.
